Volleyball Recap: Beaverhead County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Corvallis on Thursday, Beaverhead County came back down to earth. The Beavers fell 3-1 to the Frenchtown Broncs on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Beavers in their meetings with the Broncs: they've now lost five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 22-25, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Beaverhead County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cassie Keller had seven digs and seven assists.

Leading Frenchtown to victory were Iris Arlint and Jezzy Palmer. Arlint had 17 digs and two assists, while Palmer had nine digs and one assist.

Beaverhead County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10-1. As for Frenchtown, they pushed their record up to 27-3-1 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Beaverhead County will challenge rival Butte Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Frenchtown is set to square off against their familiar foe Stevensville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
