Highlands had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Thursday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Notre Dame Academy Pandas. This was payback for the Bluebirds, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Alli Meyers, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. Kate Class was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs.

Highlands' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-5-1.
