Hillman waltzed into their contest on Monday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Posen Vikings a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Evan Crane was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Crane was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Brenden Rouleau was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Cuyler Schultz was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Hillman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Hillman pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Posen, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
