Volleyball Recap: Emily Delarosa Key Part of Team Effort in Demons Win

Dexter won the last time they faced Loving and things went their way on Saturday too. The Demons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Demons.

Dexter not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Loving between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dexter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily DeLaRosa, who had five kills and one block. DeLaRosa has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last nine times she's played. Kaellie Vandenbout was another key player, getting 11 kills, two aces, and one block.

Dexter's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Loving, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coming up, Dexter will be playing at home against Hagerman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loving, they will square off against New Mexico Military Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
