Volleyball Recap: Reese Colbert Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Straughn + How To Watch

After losing to Straughn the last time they met, Dothan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wolves won by a set and slipped past the Tigers 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Dothan got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 15-8.

Dothan's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reese Colbert, who had 20 digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was Catherine Farmer, who had ten digs and ten assists.

Dothan's victory bumped their record up to 27-13. As for Straughn, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-11.

Dothan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Straughn, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Charles Henderson on the 7th.
