Volleyball Recap: DeSoto Dragons vs. Potosi Trojans
DeSoto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of the Potosi Trojans by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Potosi found their leader in underclassman Macyn Mccarthy, who had 21 digs. Those 21 digs set a new season-high mark for Mccarthy.
DeSoto's loss dropped their record down to 9-11-4. As for Potosi, they pushed their record up to 16-3-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeSoto will face off against Fox at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Potosi, they will take on Ste. Genevieve at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
