Kellon Trubey Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Pinecrest Academy Cadence got the W thanks in part to Kellon Trubey playing the best football he has all season. Trubey rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 203 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Pinecrest Academy Cadence's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Del Sol at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

The win (which was Canyon Springs' third in a row) raised their record to 3-4. Wilson and Canyon Springs will square off against Chaparral at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
