It was a good run, but Marshall County unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren East Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Marshals of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2018.

Marshall County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Warren East, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Marshall County will square off against Mayfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren East, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against University Heights on the 19th.
