Mount Airy Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Carroll Christian on the road to the tune of 76-35. Considering Mount Airy Christian Academy has won four contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Mount Airy Christian Academy was led to victory by Joey Stanton and Garrett Alford. Stanton dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Alford dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was Alford's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Caleb Stein was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six rebounds and five steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Mount Airy Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Carroll Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
