Soccer Recap: Sandusky Comes Up Short

Sandusky lost against Perkins back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Streaks lost 8-0 to the Pirates. While losing is never fun, Sandusky can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 505th, while Perkins are ranked 80th).

Sandusky's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Perkins, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sandusky is set to face off against their familiar foe Port Clinton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Perkins will take on rival Vermilion at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
