Baseball Game Preview: Libertyville Wildcats vs. Warren Township Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Libertyville will face off against Warren Township. The Wildcats will take on the Blue Devils at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Libertyville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Libertyville barely beat Warren Township the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats never let the Blue Devils get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 17 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Josh Holst made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
