Soccer Recap: Walhalla Comes Up Short

If Walhalla was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Crescent last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Razorbacks fell just short of the Pendleton Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Walhalla were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pendleton apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Kaden Jenkins and Israel Martinez scored both of Walhalla's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 36 goals.

Walhalla's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-4. As for Pendleton, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1-1.

While Walhalla had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
