Cal Chivers has led Pacific Ridge in stolen bases on the season and he led the team again on Wednesday. Chivers was unstoppable, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. He also brought in three RBI, which is notable because Pacific Ridge is 3-1 when he posts at least three RBI, but 5-9 otherwise.

Chivers' strong effort led Pacific Ridge over Army-Navy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Firebirds are 8-2 against the Warriors going back to March of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
