Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Long Island City

Long Island City waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Bryant Owls. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Long Island City's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Bryant, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Long Island City and Bryant will both be playing Academy of American Studies the next time they take the field. The Owls will host the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st, while the Bulldogs will host them at 4:15 p.m. on the 23rd.
