Volleyball Recap: Bridge City Takes a Loss

If Bridge City was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Little Cypress-Mauriceville on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals came up short against the Central Heights Blue Devils on Monday, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Cardinals couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Bridge City moved to 32-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Central Heights, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 38-6 record this season.

Bridge City will head out on the road to challenge Hudson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
