Basketball Game Preview: ED White Commanders vs. Ribault Trojans

ED White hasn't had much luck against Ribault recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Commanders will jump right back in to play the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. ED White has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 196 points over their last three contests.

ED White saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 61-32 win over Fletcher. The Commanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ribault strolled past Sandalwood with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 57-39. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Trojans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Saints are ranked 299th).

Ribault has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points over those games. As for ED White, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

ED White ended up a good deal behind Ribault when the teams last played back in January of 2023, losing 56-39. Can the Commanders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
