Soccer Game Preview: North Atlanta vs. Alpharetta

North Atlanta is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Alpharetta a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The North Atlanta Warriors will be playing at home against the Alpharetta Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Thursday, North Atlanta came up short against Denmark and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that North Atlanta have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Alpharetta also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Dunwoody by a score of 3-1. While losing is never fun, Alpharetta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 225th, while Dunwoody are ranked 102nd).

Alpharetta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for North Atlanta, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

North Atlanta beat Alpharetta 4-2 in their previous meeting back in February of 2020. Does North Atlanta have another victory up their sleeve, or will Alpharetta turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
