Volleyball Game Preview: Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons vs. Newton South Lions

Cambridge Rindge & Latin hasn't had much luck against Newton South recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Falcons will venture away from home to challenge the Lions at 5:45 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Cambridge Rindge & Latin came up short against Somerville on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Newton South duked it out with Franklin on Friday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Newton South was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-23.

Cambridge Rindge & Latin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Newton South, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
