For the second straight game, Esperanza will face off against Troy. The Aztecs will square off against the Warriors at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Esperanza is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Esperanza came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 19-6 to Troy.

Adrian Cortez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

The victory was the third in a row for Troy, bringing their record up to 15-10. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Esperanza, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.
