It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ridgeland had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down the Warren Central Vikings 56-41. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Ridgeland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Phil Nelson out in front who went 7-for-13 en route to 19 points. Nelson's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Marquis Williams, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Ridgeland's win bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Warren Central, their loss dropped their record down to 9-18.

Coming up, Ridgeland will square off against Pascagoula at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Warren Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
