Basketball Recap: Panther Valley Comes Up Short

Panther Valley lost against Blue Mountain back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panther Valley Panthers fell 66-56 to the Blue Mountain Eagles.

Despite the loss, Panther Valley still got an impressive performance from Logan FIsher, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 boards. FIsher has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last nine times he's played. Chase McArdle was another key player, putting up eight points.

Panther Valley's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Blue Mountain, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

Panther Valley will welcome Minersville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Minersville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season. Blue Mountain has already played their next game (against Schuylkill Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
