Basketball Recap: Cherryvale Comes Up Short

Cherryvale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Yates Center Wildcats by a score of 39-36. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Cherryvale's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Yates Center, they moved to 1-1 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Cherryvale will head out on the road to square off against Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th. As for Yates Center, they will take on Eureka on Thursday.
