Hammond is 9-1 against Ben Lippen since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ben Lippen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to Gray Collegiate Academy. While losing is never fun, Ben Lippen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Gray Collegiate Academy are ranked 15th).

Ben Lippen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Hammond, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
