Wheelersburg put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Waverly Warriors 18-1. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by ten runs or more this season.

Wheelersburg's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Waverly, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Coming up, Wheelersburg is taking a road trip to face off against Boyd County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waverly, they will challenge Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
