Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tok). They breezed past the Nikiski Bulldogs to the tune of 82-19 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Wolverines, who have now won six contests in a row.

Tok's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Skyla Frank-Young, who went 8-for-17 on her way to 17 points in addition to eight steals and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was BernaDean Simmonds, who posted 18 points and four steals.

Tok's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Nikiski, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Coming up, Tok will head out on the road to take on Effie Kokrine Charter on Friday. Tok is facing Effie Kokrine Charter at the right time seeing as Effie Kokrine Charter is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Nikiski, they will take on Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
