Basketball Recap: Cole Scott's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Oxon Hill over Old Mill

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Oxon Hill couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Old Mill Patriots by a score of 58-56 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Clippers have suffered since December 30, 2023.

Several Clippers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cole Scott, who posted 17 points. That's the most points Scott has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of William Johns, who put up 14 points.

Oxon Hill's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Old Mill, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-6.

As of now, neither Oxon Hill nor Old Mill have any future games scheduled.
