Soccer Recap: Cross Creek Takes a Loss

Cross Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Westside Patriots.

Cross Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Westside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Cross Creek will challenge Howard at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cross Creek will be up against Howard's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.57 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Westside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harlem at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harlem will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Westside surely won't give up without a fight.
