New Bern hadn't done well against Jacksonville recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bears never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Considering New Bern have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Spencer Goodwin and Dauny Rosales scored all three of New Bern's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

New Bern's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Jacksonville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-4-2 record.
