Zach Cwalinski Turns in Season-Best Performance

Valley View was led to victory by Zach Cwalinski, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Cwalinski rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 107 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Valley View, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Cwalinski and Valley View will be playing at home against Wyoming Valley West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gamescore: 48.83

While Delaware Valley might've come up empty on Friday, Michael Iuzzolino wasn't going down without a fight. Valley View had no answer to Iuzzolino as he made 17 total tackles.

With the loss, Delaware Valley broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-5. They and North Pocono are set to duel on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Nick Bradley Leads Abington Heights over Wallenpaupack Area

Nick Bradley produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Abington Heights to the win on Thursday. Bradley rushed for 31 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns. Abington Heights is 2-1 when Bradley posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

The victory got Abington Heights back to even at 4-4. Bradley and Abington Heights will head out on the road to square off against Scranton on Friday.

Nick Kucharski and Co. Win Seventh in a Row

Nick Kucharski's big game helped extend Valley View's winning streak to seven on Friday. Kucharski was dynamite, rushing for 80 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 40 receiving yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

For the season, Kucharski has averaged 23.2 receiving yards per game.
