Recap: Reno Huskies vs. Carson Senators
The Reno Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 24 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 71-45 margin over Carson. Winning may never get old, but Reno sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Reno was led to victory by Harvey Smerdon and Aidan Casey. Smerdon scored 13 points along with six steals and five assists, while Casey scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Levi Boyd, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Reno's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Carson, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-6.
Reno will be home for the holidays to greet Reed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Reed has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 406 points over their last six matchups. As for Carson, they will head out on the road to face off against Damonte Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Damonte Ranch is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
