Lordsburg came out on top against Capitan on Thursday thanks in part to Justin Platz's efforts. Platz was dynamite, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with four runs and three RBI. He has become a key player for Lordsburg: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-4 otherwise.

Coming up, Platz and Lordsburg will challenge Mesilla Valley Christian School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
