Volleyball Recap: El Camino Wildcats vs. Omaha Northwest Huskies
El Camino won the last time they faced Omaha Northwest and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Huskies, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.
Kaylani Feliciano-Taele paced El Camino's offense, picking up 17 kills. Feliciano-Taele got some help from Jaida Garcia and her 25 assists. Garcia was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
El Camino's victory bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Omaha Northwest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
