Softball Recap: Torrington Raiders vs. Naugatuck Greyhounds
Torrington hadn't done well against Naugatuck recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Raiders walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Greyhounds. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sophia Pergola was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since April 6th. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
