Soccer Recap: Stafford Comes Up Short

Stafford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Riverbend Bears, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Stafford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 274th, while Riverbend are ranked 56th).

Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Riverbend, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
