Galway won the last time they faced Lake George and things went their way on Monday too. The Galway Golden Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lake George Lakers, sneaking past 35-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

Lake George's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madyson Brennan, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Brennan is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mykah Collier-Fisher, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Galway's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Lake George, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Galway has already played their next matchup (against Fonda-Fultonville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lake George didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-60 loss against Hartford Central on the 14th.
