Flag Football Recap: Bethel Takes a Loss

Bethel suffered their biggest defeat since August 21st on Monday. They were dealt a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Saint Mary's Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost six in a row.

Gabby Clement was her usual excellent self, throwing for 260 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 90 yards and one score on only eight carries for Saint Mary's.

Bethel's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Saint Mary's, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Bethel has already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Vallejo on the 15th. As for Saint Mary's, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 25-6 win against Hercules on the 15th.
