Football Recap: Noah Crump Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mcbee + How To Watch

Buford's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down the McBee Panthers 49-30. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Yellow Jackets considering their six-point performance the game before.

Buford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Crump, who threw for 385 yards and five TDs while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 55 yards and one score. Those 385 passing yards gave Crump a new career-high. Buford's leading receiver Hawkins Wilson was Crump's top target yet again, picking up 152 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Buford didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited McBee to a completion percentage of just 26.3%. Given Crump's standout performance, it's clear the Panthers' secondary just wasn't on the same level.

The win got Buford back to even at 1-1. As for McBee, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Buford has already played their next match, a 36-34 defeat against Great Falls on the 19th. As for McBee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 35-14 victory against Chesterfield on the 19th.
