Walnut Grove lost to Golden City back in December of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Walnut Grove Tigers took down the Golden City Eagles 67-50.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamison Menadue, who posted 12 points and three steals. Menadue has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Hughes, who had eight points and nine rebounds.
Walnut Grove now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Golden City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season.
