Baseball Recap: Splendora Comes Up Short

Splendora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Porter Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on Tuesday.

Splendora's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15-1. As for Porter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-14.

Coincidentally, Splendora and Porter will both be playing Kingwood Park the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
