Baseball Recap: Easton Comes Up Short

Easton lost against Bennett back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors came up short against the Clippers, falling 13-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Michael O'Connor was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dylan Cassell, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Easton's record now sits at 10-6. As for Bennett, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Coming up, Easton will challenge North Caroline at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bennett, they will take on Snow Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Clippers surely won't give up without a fight.
