Soccer Recap: Weber Comes Up Short

Weber and Skyridge squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Weber had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Weber couldn't quite close it out.

Weber's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Skyridge, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Weber does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Skyridge, they will challenge American Fork at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday. American Fork's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
