Montverde Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the McKeel Academy Wildcats on Friday as the Montverde Academy Eagles made off with a 5-2 victory. Considering the Eagles have won 13 contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit McKeel Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lola Rey (2), Caroline Ritchey, Emma Vodden, and Vienna Morgan.

The win was the fourth in a row for Montverde Academy, bringing their record for this year to 19-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matchups. As for McKeel Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-3.

Looking ahead, Montverde Academy will be playing at home against Lake Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Highland Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. McKeel Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
