Wise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 20-3 walloping at the hands of the Bowie Bulldogs . The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Wise has scored all season.

Wise saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and an RBI. Kameron Cofer was another key contributor, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with a stolen base.

On Bowie's side, Jack Young was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Young was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a triple and an RBI.

In other batting news, Bowie got a massive performance out of Caden Dickson, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, a stolen base, and a double. Another player making a difference was Myles Johnson, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, a run, and a double.

Wise's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4. As for Bowie, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wise will challenge Laurel at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Wise is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 12.1 runs per game this season. As for Bowie, they will head out on the road to face off against Eleanor Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
