Softball Recap: Three Straight Road Victories for North Royalton

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither North Royalton nor Hudson made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Bears' pitchers stepped up to hand the Explorers a 17-0 shutout. Considering the Bears have won 13 matches by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

North Royalton pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Hudson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 5-16 record this season.

North Royalton will challenge Twinsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hudson, they will square off against Magnificat at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
