Volleyball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. Vincennes Lincoln Alices

Princeton hasn't had much luck against Vincennes Lincoln recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Tigers will face off against the Alices at 12:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, Princeton came up short against South Knox and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 16-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Vincennes Lincoln had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hatchets. The victory continues a trend for the Alices in their matchups with the Hatchets: they've now won five in a row.

Vincennes Lincoln's win came from a few key players Princeton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Olivia Lange, who had nine digs and one assist. The team also got some help courtesy of Presley Davis, who had nine digs and one assist.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Vincennes Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 15-12.

Princeton suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Vincennes Lincoln in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
