Softball Recap: Killeen Comes Up Short

Killeen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 19-0 to the Midway Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Kangaroos of the 29-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Killeen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Midway, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Killeen and Midway will both be playing Bryan the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Kangaroos will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
