Baseball Recap: Jersey Village Takes a Loss

Jersey Village was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the College Station Cougars.

Jersey Village saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Castillo Guerra, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Jersey Village's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for College Station, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Jersey Village has already played their next contest, an 11-0 victory against Northbrook on the 11th. As for College Station, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-4 defeat against Brenham on the 11th.
