After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Howell, Grand Ledge was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Waverly Warriors with a sharp 9-2 win. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

Grand Ledge's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Waverly, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Ledge will square off against Haslett at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waverly, they will face off against Holt at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
