Baseball Recap: Yerington Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Yerington can now relate to. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Tahoe Lakers on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Toby Juarez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Yerington's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-4. As for North Tahoe, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

Yerington has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 win against West Wendover on the 9th. As for North Tahoe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-7 victory against Oasis Academy on the 9th.
