Volleyball Recap: Strawberry Crest Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Strawberry Crest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sunlake Seahawks.

While Strawberry Crest ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 21-25, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Strawberry Crest saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alyssa Miller had 11 digs and three aces. Haley Kang was another key player, getting ten digs.

Strawberry Crest's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Sunlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Strawberry Crest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sunlake, they will square off against IMG Academy White at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
